For the second time in as many days I’m sharing a new Griffey shoe, this time the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 “Platinum,” and again it is really nice. With an almost Foamposite look going for it, the shoe sports a metallic silver upper with black nubuck surrounding the laces and through the tongue and a black sole unit. The colorway doesn’t exactly match up with any of Griffey’s old uniforms but hey, he’s retired: it doesn’t have to.
